We used the strategy document to help define this line which was built on a number of public meetings over time. At one point we were writing some of the values as a group during the public comments period of our City Council meeting.
Since we also wanted to use this as a living tool, we purposely used language that avoided jargon and backed up our vision with clear goals and projects.
