The 100 Year celebration was a great motivation to add greenery, art and benches to downtown Mosier.
The projects involved multiple teams of organizers, builders, designers and artists.
Each bike rack, bench and art piece put up ‘for sale’ to the public who were then able to choose a historic photo or quote for their plaque. The result is a mini art-walk for visitors of both the sculptures and the plaques.
Donations were helped along by a fundraiser that highlighted local wines & ciders and while building community. Glasses were raised along with $20K.
